Explores deductive and inductive reasoning, definitions, verification, argument forms, and analyzes formal and informal fallacies. Analyzes the nature of arguments for validity and soundness. Introduces the systematic study of consequentialist, deontological and virtue theories as well as meta-ethical theories.
