Course Description
Introduces the scientific method as used in the study of humans as biological organisms. Focuses on human evolution and diversity, including genetics, evolution, primatology, paleoanthropology, human variation, and biocultural adaptation. Examines how humans relate to other living organisms and how the tools of science are used to reconstruct the past history of our species. Course Credit Limitations: Credit will not be awarded for both the honors and regular versions of a course. Credit will be awarded only for the first course completed with a grade of “C” or better or "P". Moorpark College Honors Program requires a letter grade. Transfer credit: CSU; UC.
