11:30-1 PM TRADITIONAL BLESSING AND STORYTELLING: Alan Salazar is a traditional storyteller, native educator, and a tribal elder in both the Fernandeño Tataviam and Ventureño Chumash tribes. He is no stranger to Moorpark College.  He has joined us for our Multicultural Day celebrations and other events representing the rich history and culture of the indigenous people of our area.

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with the Moorpark College choirs!  Moorpark College Music presents a blend of Día de los Muertos themes, featuring our Vocal Ensemble performing works by all-Mexican composers and our Concert Choir delivering the epic Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem. Join us on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11am or 7pm in the Performing Arts Center Main stage for a concert that honors these worlds through the voice.
