This is a laboratory course in introductory astronomy that teaches observations of various astronomical objects interactively through a series of computer-based projects that act as a virtual telescope. This is a course in analytic geometry and calculus for students in business and management. Topics include functions and analytic geometry; differential calculus, including limits, maxima and minima; and integral calculus, including area and other applications. Successful completion of this course fulfills the mathematics competency requirement for the AA/AS degree. Prerequisites: Course taught at the level of intermediate algebra or placement as determined by the college's multiple measures assessment process.
