This course is designed to instruct students in the basic swimming strokes at the demonstration level. This course covers the basic concepts of cardiovascular conditioning theory and practice, safety procedures of equipment usage, and cardiovascular training through the use of a variety of cardiovascular training machines including the treadmill, elliptical trainer, stair-stepper, rowers, and bicycles.
