Calling ALL Condors!!! Be sure to come out and show your support for the Oxnard College Men’s Soccer team as they take on Antelope Valley College in Round 1 of the Playoffs! Be sure to cheer our defending champions on at this home game on Saturday, November 18 at 2pm. General admission for adults is $12. Admission is $8 for students, faculty, staff, seniors, and children (12 and under). Parking is FREE.

Stand-up Comedy Night with Jason Love and an All-Star Cast!

OC LIVE invites you to join us for a night of laughter with Hollywood’s hottest comedians on Thursday, December 7th at 6pm in the beautiful Oxnard College Performing Arts Building (PAB). You won’t want to miss these nationally touring headliners: Jason Love (America’s Got Talent and HBO), Maronzio Vance (Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza, Last Call With Carson Daly, Last Comic Standing), Jen Murphy (Laughs on Fox, Comics Unleashed, “Five Comics to Watch” in OC Weekly), Al Ducharme (F is for Family on Netflix, America’s Got Talent, Overseas for Troops) and DJ Cooch (Showtime, TBS, Carnival Cruise Line, Improv Wall of Fame).

1st Gen Day Livestream Panel Event

1st Gen Day Livestream Panel Event

in-person: OC Student Lounge

Join us on 1st Gen Day, November 8, 2023, in the OC Student Lounge for a livestream panel event featuring first-gen graduates currently working for Disney, Sony, Comcast, and the MLB (Major League Baseball). Panelists will share their experiences through higher education, being a 1st Gen graduate, and their journeys towards their career pathways.

Livestream event starts @ 3pm, so arrive a few minutes early to ensure you do not miss the start of the event. Refreshments and prizes will be available to students.

Event is hosted by Proyecto Éxito & Proyecto Puentes in collaboration with Center for First-General Student Success and the Council for Opportunity in Education.
Panelists include:

Join us for this interactive in-person event and learn about different careers!

RSVP: students can RSVP through link and also attend the day of the event
Food/refreshments will be available to students who attend and participate in the event

Career Day 2023 is a collaboration between OC Career Center, Proyecto Éxito, and our Career Education faculty to share and educate students on the professions and career pathways within our Career Education fields. Students can earn a certificate or degree in our 25 different Career Education programs and immediately start working in the industry of their choice. Whether students are pursuing a career in one of our Career Education programs or planning to transfer to a 4-yr. university and work while they attend college, this informative event is designed for everyone.

OC LIVE Presents “Here Comes the General!”

OC LIVE and the Los Angeles Army Recruiting Battalion invite you to join us for a special evening with guest speaker Brigadier General (BG) Aida T. Borras. As one of the highest ranking Latina generals in the U.S. Army, BG Borras will share her unique journey and the valuable lessons she has learned along the way. She will discuss the benefits and opportunities that her service in the Army has afforded her. Following her talk, BG Borras will be available to take questions.

BG Borras has had an illustrious career in the U.S. Army, holding numerous positions including Commanding General at the Military Intelligence Readiness Command in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and is currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff in the Intelligence Office, G2, in Washington, D.C.

This free event is open to everyone on Tuesday, October 17th at 5:00pm in the Oxnard College Performing Arts Building (PAB). Parking is free in Lot “H” and no tickets are necessary. Find all of our livestreams and event information online at oxnardcollege/oclive.
