Kristal Ibrahim has been a part-time counselor for both the OC SSS program, and general counseling, since January 2021. In 2003, Kristal earned her AA degree from Antelope Valley College, then her BA degree in psychology from CSU Bakersfield in 2005. In 2010, she earned her master of science degree in educational counseling from the University of La Verne, and in 2018, she earned her master of social work from the University of Southern California (Fight on!). When she’s not spending time with family, or working on a craft project, Kristal enjoys reading about closing achievement gaps for minoritized groups in American schools, and fictional works in the vein of LOTR, and Harry Potter. Kristal also enjoys going to Disneyland (pre-COVID), and eating at Tito’s Tacos in Culver City, California as often as she can.
