Course Description
This course is designed to instruct students in the basic swimming strokes at the demonstration level. Students will develop additional swimming strokes, learn water safety techniques, and maintain a high level of cardiovascular endurance. Recommended Prep: KIN V03 or equivalent skills. Notes: Ventura College faculty has defined Aquatics as a family of courses which includes KIN V02, KIN V03, KIN V04, and KIN V06; a student may take a maximum of four (4) courses from a family.
