Course Description
This course provides advanced instruction in drawing the human figure from the live model. Emphasis will be on theory and practice in the uses of linear and tonal form. Exercises will include structure; proportion; foreshortening; composition; introduction to exaggeration and alteration of form, with emphasis on compositional arrangement; and exploration of complex media. Field trips may be required. Prerequisites: ART V13B. Transfer credit: CSU; UC. Formerly: ART 13C.
