Read as much positive news as you do negative news. Despite the overwhelming and addictive nature of scary news, recognizing the good things that are happening will keep you positive. This pandemic has reminded us about what is truly important and focusing on your priorities will help you stay motivated.
Get some fresh air by walking—keeping social distancing. Maintaining your health goes hand in hand with keeping sane while the threat of cabin fever looms over our heads. Go outside, soak in the sunlight, and enjoy the clean air and spring flowers.
Keep in touch with your friends. There are various platforms you can utilize to stay in touch with your friends. Talking and playing games with friends is a great way to maintain a happy attitude and curb boredom.
Keep up with your classes. Carving some hours out of your day to maintain your grades is not only a good way to keep a sense of normality but to stave off the procrastination anxiety.
Create a routine. Stay consistent with your sleep regimen and eat and exercise regularly. Creating a schedule for your day, as well as your classes, is a smart way to cultivate your time management skills and stay motivated.
And remember, we’re all in this together.
