What does that entail? Providing administrative support to Chancellor Greg Gillespie and preparation of Board of Trustees meeting agendas.
How long have you worked for the district? 20 years
Were you a student at one of the district’s colleges and if so which one? What was your major and your degree? I have attended classes at Moorpark, Oxnard and Ventura campuses.
Are you from the area and if not where are you from? I grew up in Harper Woods, Michigan, a small town just outside Detroit. I moved to California in 1992.
Share something personal about yourself: (ex: pets, hobbies, what are you currently watching/listening to and why you enjoy it) I have two wonderful sons and a sweet grand doggy. I love murder/mystery shows and listening to the same on podcasts. I enjoy being with my family and spending time with friends shopping, dining, and going to movies. Gardening and home projects are also favorite things to do.
What do you find rewarding about your job or career? I enjoy helping others, the variety of the tasks I perform, and being part of a great educational institutional where both of my sons graduated and moved on to successful careers!
