Amanda Burwick grew up in Ventura County graduating from Hueneme High, Oxnard College and CSU Channel Islands. She participated in Upward Bound and is a was a first-generation college student. At CSUCI she earned a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Business Management. Her role at Oxnard College is to support students advancing toward employment.
