Ventura College has a VCCCD Police Department station that serves as the primary law enforcement and campus safety service for Ventura College. The Ventura College Police Station is charged with investigating all crimes that occur on the Ventura College campus and it also holds a memorandum of understanding with the Ventura Police Department for investigating Part 1 violent crimes, sexual assaults, and hate crimes as required by California Education Code Section 67381. The Ventura College Police Station is also responsible for investigating crimes that occur within the Ventura College East Campus in Santa Paula.
The Ventura College Police Station is located on the northeast corner of Ventura College, near the intersection of Loma Vista Road and Day Road (view map). Currently, Ventura College has two assigned officers, a patrol sergeant, one Lieutenant supervisor, and a campus safety officer.
